What's it like at our events? (view photos of our events)

They are fun for you and your hound(s). Our events are one of our best ways of getting new adopters for these wonderful hounds, we can always use more volunteers to help.

Please be responsible when out with your greyhound.  When your greyhound is at the end of a leash, he/she relies on you for safety. Your greyhound will appreciate your efforts to keep him/her close by your side.

Please join us in helping to spread the word on greyhound adoption. We need help promoting our organization at local events. Can you spare a couple of hours one weekend a month to go to a pet store, a green market or any other location to let people meet your greyhound(s) and give out information on our organization? Check out the events listed below and if interested in volunteering please contact Mary Ann at .

For any of the events without specific chairpersons you may sign up with Mary Ann at or (954) 579-6069.

Upcoming Scheduled Events

Honda Classic Birdies for Children

Greyhound Pet Adoption, Florida SE has been approved for the Honda Classic Birdies for Children campaign.  110% of donations made on the Honda Classic website will benefit Greyhound Pet Adoption.

Charities solicit donations of $20 or more from donors who make pledges either online or on printed pledge form.  The donor then receives the opportunity to make guess(es) on the number of birdies that will be made at the 2016 Honda Classic.  The person coming closest to the actual number will receive a brand new 2016 Honda automobile!
What is a Birdie? - A birdie is a score of one stroke better than par for any golf hole.  Par is the average expected score for any given hole (typically 3, 4, or 5).  PGA pros are expected to make anywhere between 1,000 to 1,500 birdies during The Honda Classic.
So to join in the fun please visit the Honda Classic Birdies for Children website to make a donation.

All donations must be submitted by February 24, 2016.

A print version of the donation form is also available

Jupiter Lanes Craft Fair - at 350 Maplewood Drive in Jupiter every fourth Saturday from 8am to 1pm.  Another great opportunity to promote Greyhound adoption.  Contact Mary Ann Grzybowski at or (954) 579-6069.

Craft Fair currently closed for the Fall.

Channel 25 TV – WPBF – Will be showing a 30 second Public Service Announcement promoting adoption.  They will also make up the tag line for our local group and send it to the other stations to also air – no telling when or how often – but hopefully we’ll get airtime from this beautiful “ad” for Greyhound adoption.
