What's it like at our events? (view photos of our events)

They are fun for you and your hound(s). Our events are one of our best ways of getting new adopters for these wonderful hounds, we can always use more volunteers to help.

Please be responsible when out with your greyhound.  When your greyhound is at the end of a leash, he/she relies on you for safety. Your greyhound will appreciate your efforts to keep him/her close by your side.

Please join us in helping to spread the word on greyhound adoption. We need help promoting our organization at local events. Can you spare a couple of hours one weekend a month to go to a pet store, a green market or any other location to let people meet your greyhound(s) and give out information on our organization? The following recurring events may be subject to change if dates conflict with one of the special events noted above.  Please call Mary Ann at (954) 579-6069 if you have any questions regarding the schedule.   

  PetSmart - on US 1 in Jensen Beach every Friday from 12pm to 2pm and also Sunday from 11am to 1pm. This is ideal for those in the northern areas to have a place to visit with the Greys so potential adopters can get "up close and personal" with these magnificent animals.  Contact Pete Thompson at ptflorida@comcast.net or (772) 225-6868.

 Channel 12 TV – WPEC – Weekly appearances by a kennel dog – during the noon news program – airs approximately 12:25 pm each day with Pet of the Day

 Channel 25 TV – WPBF – Will be showing a 30 second Public Service Announcement promoting adoption.  They will also make up the tag line for our local group and send it to the other stations to also air – no telling when or how often – but hopefully we’ll get airtime from this beautiful “ad” for Greyhound adoption.
